Topic: Classic Prescriptions On the Dizziness

Speaker: Dr. Shan Fang(TCM)
Dr Fang is the vice president of CMASA and one of the committee members of CMASA
NSW. He studied Chinese medicine classics such as Treatise On Febrile Caused by Cold,
Synopsis of Prescriptions of the Golden Chamber, Recipes in Rhymes under the director of
his father in his teenage, and was the successor of the famous Chinese medicine
practitioner Gongwei Xu in his twenties. He attained a bachelor’s degree and a doctorate
from Fujian Traditional Chinese Medicine University. In 1990, Dr Fang set up a Chinese
medicine orthopedic clinic at Chinatown Sydney, and won his wide acclaim among movie
stars in filmdom. He had an interview by the national TV station in Australia in 2008, and
was appointed as a medical counselor by many organizations, such as Australian Hope
Children Fund from 2012 to 2013. He was reported by the China Central Television and
the People’s Daily for his high contribution of traditional Chinese medicine outside of
China. He is good at dealing with severe illness with classic prescriptions. The
characteristics of his practice: Painless acupuncture with gentle manipulation; therapy by
traditional Chinese medicine in conjunction with medical examination by western
medicine; modified form of Chinese medicine herbs for easy intake
